What is Kind Kids Book Club?

 

Kind Kids Book Club is the UK's first children's book subscription service dedicated to nurturing social conscience in little people and highlighting the importance of kindness

 

Each and every one of our carefully-curated and age-appropriate packs is designed to engage, empower and educate - giving even the youngest readers the tools they need to begin making a positive impact on the world as they grow

 

Devised during lockdown by a busy mum of three from rural Wales, Kind Kids Book Club is committed to shaking up children's bookshelves by bringing stories full of empathy to the table and inspiring important yet age-appropriate conversations

 

 

What is in each pack?

Our subscribers - ranging from 0-3 yrs to 10+ yrs - receive two beautiful and inclusive books direct to their door

 

Specifically-designed to spark thinking and inspire action – our packs also contain:

​

• a book club magazine

• a kindness record art postcard

• a set of reading prompt cards (0-3yrs + 4-7yrs)

• plastic-free craft activities (0-3yrs + 4-7yrs)

• collectible All About Me journal pages (7+ yrs + 10+ yrs)

• surprise kindness-related gifts from lovely small businesses (7+ yrs + 10+ yrs)

 

 

When will my order be shipped?

 

If you order a subscription before the 1st of the month, you will receive your first pack as part of that month's mail out. Any orders placed after the 1st of the month, will be shipped at the end of the same month, as part of the next mail out

 

We ship our one-off packs at any time and aim to process your order and mail out within three working days. We will get back in touch with you via email when your items have been dispatched

Do you charge for postage?

​

Yes – at the moment we do!  Our UK p&p charge is £2.95.  We use Royal Mail Second Class post for all our parcels.  International shipping is charged at £12.95

​

 

How does the subscription work?

​

You can sign up to Kind Kids Book Club for three or six months.  You can purchase your subscription as a one-off, in full payment (£55 for three months, £110 for six months) or pay monthly (£18.33 per month) via Direct Debit

 

If you are paying monthly, payments will automatically be taken out of your account each month on the date you made your first payment (e.g. If you ordered a three month subscription on 15 May – you subsequent payments will leave your account on 15 June and 15 July).  Your subscription will automatically expire once the designated number of months has passed

Do I have to subscribe or can I buy a one-off pack?

​

No – you don’t have to subscribe to join our club! You can give us a whirl by buying a one-off pack – available each and every month – with the same brilliant contents as our subscription boxes

​

 

Can I cancel my subscription?

​

Yes, of course!  Just drop us a line at info@kindkidsbookclub.co.uk and we can sort things out for you.  You can pause or cancel your subscription at any time – no questions asked!

Can I send a one-off pack or a subscription as a gift?

​

Yes – brilliant idea!  If you are sending your subscription or one-off pack as a gift – simply fill in the recipient name and address in the Delivery address section when ordering.  You can also add a personalised note using our Message from sender box.  We’ll hand-write your message on one of our beautifully branded rainbow postcards at no extra cost!

Will I know what books I will be getting each month?

​

Yes!  We post our book picks for the month on our Instagram and Facebook accounts and review each story before we send it out to our book clubbers

​

 

What if I already have the book you send me?

​

We like to seek out unusual, not-your-run-of-the-mill books and frequently feature new releases - so we hope you won’t have what we send out already!

 

But if you do – that’s not a problem.  Drop us an email at info@kindkidsbookclub.co.uk and we will be happy to swap your book for a title from our back catalogue

What if I’m not happy with my purchase?

​

If you aren’t completely satisfied with your pack and its contents - drop us a line at info@kindkidsbookclub.co.uk and we will do our absolute best to work things out or provide a full refund

Do you deliver internationally?

​

Absolutely!  We have book clubbers all over the world!  International postage is charge at £12.95

​

What about safety and allergies?

​

Adult supervision is required with all of our packs and their accompanying activities.  Our packs will sometimes contain toy items intended for use during craft activities.  These are sourced from reputable UK-based sellers and include CE marks where appropriate.  Our packs will sometimes contain loose household or natural items that are not classed as toys under the Toy Safety Directive.  Our packs sometimes contain small items
